    Towncrest pharmacy was established in 1963 and was located in the Towncrest Medical Complex on the east side of Iowa City. It was originally owned and operated by Pearson's Drug (formerly located in downtown Iowa City on Market St). Pearson's sold the Towncrest location to Bill Haigh.

    Bernie Cremers joined Bill as a partner in 1991 and together they opened a second store, Medical Plaza Pharmacy. This store is located in the Mercy Medical Plaza in Iowa City.

    Michael Deninger, Pharmacist, Ph. D., joined Bernie and Bill as a partner in 2003. Randy McDonough, Pharmacist, Pharm. D. BSGPS joined the team in 2006.
